Terms of Service

Last updated: 31 July 2026

These Terms govern your use of Deutschtec, a service operated by Deutschtec GmbH, Am Fuchsbau 13, 15345 Petershagen/Eggersdorf, Germany (“Deutschtec”, “we”, “us”). By creating an account or using the service you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

Deutschtec sends your question to several third-party AI models and produces a synthesized answer. The service can also generate media (images, video, audio) and documents on request. Outputs are generated by AI and may be inaccurate or incomplete; they are provided for information only and are not professional (legal, medical, financial) advice. You are responsible for how you use the outputs.

2. Accounts

You must provide accurate information and keep your credentials secure. You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of digital consent in your country, to use the service.

3. Credits & payment

4. Acceptable use

You may not use the service to break the law, infringe others’ rights, generate harmful, abusive, or deceptive content, attempt to reverse-engineer or overload the service, or resell access. We may suspend accounts that abuse the service or the free tier.

5. Intellectual property

You retain rights to your inputs. Subject to these Terms and the rights of the underlying model providers, you may use the answers you generate. The Deutschtec name, software, and design are our property.

6. AI-generated content & transparency

The service is an AI system, provided by Deutschtec GmbH. Text, images, video, audio and documents you produce with it are generated or modified by artificial intelligence.

As a matter of product policy we label all such output in the app, and — where technically feasible — mark it in a machine-readable format so it can be detected as artificially generated. This is deliberately broader than the law requires: the disclosure duties in Article 50 of Regulation (EU) 2024/1689 (the EU AI Act) attach only to certain content, and our labelling should not be read as a statement that every labelled item falls within that statutory scope. You must not remove, strip, obscure or disable these labels or markings, and you must not use the service to remove them from content generated elsewhere.

Where you publish or share output you created with the service, you act as the deployer of an AI system. The disclosure obligations under Article 50(4) — in particular for deep fakes and for AI-generated text published to inform the public on matters of public interest — then fall on you. We provide the labelling tools; using them, and meeting any further obligations that apply to your publication, is your responsibility.

7. Third-party providers

The service relies on third-party AI and infrastructure providers. Their availability and outputs are outside our control, and your use may also be subject to their terms.

8. Disclaimers & liability

The service is provided “as is”. To the extent permitted by law, we exclude implied warranties and are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under German law (including for intent, gross negligence, or personal injury). Mandatory statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.

9. Termination

You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms.

10. Changes

We may update these Terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. Mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence remain unaffected.
