EU AI Act Article 50 transparency
Images created with Deutschtec carry an invisible watermark. Upload an image here and we will tell you whether we can still find that watermark in it. You do not need an account, and we do not keep the file after the check.

What we check
We look for two independent things, and report them separately because they do not always survive together:
A machine-readable manifest (C2PA content credentials) travels inside the file and records who signed it, when, and that it was AI generated. It is precise, but fragile: most social platforms and many editors strip it out entirely on upload.
An invisible watermark and recovery fingerprint is woven into the pixels themselves. It survives ordinary re-saving and resizing, but heavy recompression or cropping can wear it away.
What the result means
Found means the image still carries our credential, so it was created with Deutschtec and is AI generated.
Not found means we could not find either one. That is not proof the image was made somewhere else. Editing, cropping, screenshotting or re-saving at a lower quality can remove both while the picture still looks the same to you.
We report what the credential itself says. We do not check the signer against an external trust list, so an unrecognised signer is shown rather than rejected.
